Thirty-five Carlsbad Village businesses have thrown their decorating hat in the ring and are vying for your vote! Come on out between Black Friday (Nov. 27th) and December 17th and visit all 35 businesses to check out their handy work and creative, festive ideas. Then, go to www.carsbad-village.com/events and vote for your favorite. It’s that simple. And that fun!
While you’re doing your holiday shopping take note of the different decorating styles and schemes. Then, make a date night of it and after grabbing dinner in the village, enjoy the windows all ablaze. A lot of thought and time have gone into them; our goal was to turn the village into a Winter Wonderland for your enjoyment.
In addition to the public voting for their favorite in the “People’s Choice” award, city council members and the Boys and Girls Torch Club will also be voting for their favorites, all to be awarded during a special celebration on Friday December 18th.
On Friday, December 18th, join us at Choice Juicery at the corner of State Street and Carlsbad Village Drive from 4pm to 5pm for live music, carolers, and holiday-themed dance routines performed by the Pacific Motion Dance Center. Stay to find out if your favorite window made the cut! Live holiday themed music will played at the corner of State and Carlsbad Village Drive as well as State Street and Grand Avenue from 5pmto 8pm the first three Fridays of December to keep you company while you shop and dine in the village.
Prizes have been generously donated by San Diego Getaway Magazine, Seaside Courier and Carlsbad Retrospect newspapers, as well as Videospot Production Company.
