Flicks at the Fountain 2025 - Thank You for a Fantastic Summer

What a season! Five Thursday nights of movies under the stars brought our community together in the heart of Carlsbad Village for fun, laughter, and memorable moments.

The Carlsbad Village Association would like to sincerely thank everyone who joined us this summer for this beloved tradition. From the first film to the last, your enthusiasm and smiles made Flicks at the Fountain truly special.

Free Outdoor Movies

Located in the Fountain Parking Lot on the corner of State and Grand. (Next to Shorehouse Kitchen, 2833 State Street).

Flicks at the Fountain returns this summer with five unforgettable Thursday nights of free, family-friendly movie screenings in the heart of Carlsbad Village. From animated favorites to inspiring musicals and an epic superhero finale, this year’s lineup has something for everyone. Bring your friends, gather the family, and join us each week for an open-air cinema experience under the stars.

Event Details

Admission is completely free, and seating begins at 6:00 PM. Movies will begin at dusk, typically around 8:00 PM. Guests are encouraged to bring low-back chairs, warm blankets, and either pack a picnic or grab dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants in the Village. Arrive early to secure your spot and enjoy the festive atmosphere as the sun sets.
