Village Voices is Back in Person!
August 24th, 2021
We're back! It's been too long.
The Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) is thrilled to be hosting Village Voices, its monthly business networking and information meeting, on Tuesday, August 24th from 8:00 am to 9:30 am.
Come enjoy coffee, juice, donuts, and breakfast sweets while networking with other business owners, managers, and staff and also hear a fast-paced update on happenings in downtown Carlsbad.
CVA will bring you up to date on the
- State of the City video,
- downtown events,
- downtown issues, and
- upcoming programs that are relevant to Village businesses and residents.
Location
We will be meeting live, in-person, outdoors, in the courtyard of the Village Faire Shopping Center.
Guest Speakers
Our guest speaker, to welcome us all back in person, will be Mayor Matt Hall, and he will be joined by our new Police Chief Mickey Williams. We are honored to have Mayor Hall and Chief Williams with us on the 24th and look forward to hearing from them.
About Village Voices
Since 2015, Village Voices has provided downtown business owners, managers, and their staff, as well as downtown residents, a monthly snapshot of community events, city affairs, business promotion, and more, in addition to robust networking.
Thanks to the generosity of New Village Arts, we were able to meet in their Foundry Artist Studios for over a year and then moved into the 99-seat theater when we outgrew the Foundry and remained there for two years. In 2020 we went virtual to comply with local and state health guidance requests. We are now moving to a new location to keep the business networking and connections going strong.
Who Can Attend Village Voices
We are now excited to be able to meet, once again, in person. No RSVP is necessary. All Carlsbad Village residents, businesses, and Carlsbad enthusiasts are invited to join us. Outdoor seating will be provided. Stay to the end for a quick, fun prize giveaway. We promise to get you on your way on time!
