Twisted Visions Exhibition Opens May 23rd With Art Reception

Please join us for the opening reception of our exciting and unique Twisted Visions exhibition on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at The Foundry Artist Studios at New Village Arts (NVA). 

Twisted Visions pays homage to NVA’s production of Little Shop of Horrors that opens on Saturday, June 1, 2019 and is the result of the Foundry artists challenging themselves to imagine and create monsters and creepy creatures. Some works are literal and representational, others more abstract; some are imaginative or twisted, others more symbolic. Each piece is one foot square and created in the artist’s unique style and choice of materials including oils, acrylic, watercolor, digital media, mixed media, and collage. 

This widely diverse collection is the culmination of these very individual and unique creative efforts!  The Twisted Visions exhibition will run through Sunday, June 23, 2019.  We look forward to your visit to our gallery and working studios and hope you are able to join us for the opening reception on May 23rd including live music, refreshments, and an interactive art project for our guests.

The Foundry Artist Studios can be found adjacent to the New Village Arts Theatre located at 2787 State Street, at the corner of State Street and Christansen Way in the heart of Carlsbad Village.
