Many Village locals (us included) have been long awaiting this day and its officially here! The Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) is so excited to announce that the newly remodeled Cottages on Roosevelt are now open. CVA would like to give a big warm welcome to the four new delicious eateries that will call the Cottages home.
Meet The Restaurants
The Plot Express is the place to get quick, casual and convenient food, with a menu that is playful and delicious. The Plot focuses on the total utilization of fresh, boundary-pushing ingredients — some of which are grown directly behind their flagship restaurant in Oceanside. They make delicious and satisfying that is completely plant-based, while celebrating zero waste practices.
Revolution Roasters is a specialty coffee shop that will open their second location in Carlsbad Village. If you are familiar with their Oceanside location, you will be able to find all the same tasty drinks and treats here in Carlsbad. They are a one-stop experience for specialty coffee, house-made pastries, delicious breakfast items, and freshly roasted coffee. They have a wide variety of rotating seasonal options including beverages, pastries, and limited release coffee. Vegan, gluten free, and organic options are available throughout their bakery, kitchen, and coffee menus.
Shoots Fish & Beer, established in Oceanside in 2017, is a fast-casual seafood joint offering fresh-off-the-boat fish tacos, Hawaiian-style poke, sustainable oysters, & daily specials. They specialize in elevated casual dining with an emphasis on regeneratively sourced fish and classic Hawaiian and Mexican recipes all in a chill surf-inspired atmosphere. Shoots will be offering new menu items only available in their Carlsbad location!
Stella Jean’s Ice Cream is a small-batch ice cream shop utilizing real ingredients to produce the best ice cream flavors and experiences they possibly can. They are always cooking up (and cooling down) fresh new flavors for all to enjoy. Stella Jean’s offers “always” flavors that are year-round delights, as well as “for now” seasonal flavors that change up every few months. They also offer gluten free and vegan options, so there is a flavor for everyone to enjoy!
