Did you know that there are 120 local and regional artists at the upcoming 24th Annual Art in the Village representing over a dozen mediums, all with an amazing story to tell?
On Sunday, June 26th, we invite you to come spend some time in downtown Carlsbad and meet the talent behind the artwork on display at this exceptional, one-day, open air art show. Photography, pottery, ceramics, glasswork, resin, oil, watercolor, mixed media, watercolor, and so much more, are all on display. And while this is a fine art show, there is something here for everyone and every budget.
Larisa Lewis, this year's Artist Ambassador, was born and raised in a small town in Ukraine, Larisa Lewis has always known how to appreciate the beauty of pure nature. Her unique talent of captivating the moment makes her paintings full of life. Her simple, yet elegant touch captures the true colors of stunning sunsets, mysterious deserts, gracious sailing boats, and everyday beach life. The Carlsbad Village Association is pleased to have Larisa as this 24th Annual Art in the Village artist ambassador and are looking forward to sharing her work with the public both before, during and after the event.
