The 26th Annual Art in the Village: A Resounding Success

A heartful thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this year’s Art in the Village! From our talented artists to our generous sponsors, local businesses, and the entire community, your support made this event truly special.

On June 23rd, over 130 artists and numerous musicians gathered under sunny skies to celebrate creativity by the coast. The Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) is immensely grateful to all the artists who have supported this cherished event, which has thrived for over two decades.

This year’s festival went beyond artist booths. Attendees were treated to live demonstrations of sculpting, pottery, printmaking, and glass-making throughout the day. A huge thank you to our artists for sharing their craft and passion with an enthusiastic audience.

Special thanks to Ting Internet for sponsoring the music stage at this year’s celebration. Thanks to Ting’s support, we introduced three new musical acts that filled the air with captivating tunes and lively energy, enhancing the vibrant atmosphere of the event.

The City of Carlsbad played an essential role by hosting the Pop-Up Art booth, where children and art enthusiasts of all ages could create their own masterpieces. The City’s Arts Education team provided expert guidance, while live music and a face painter added an extra layer of joy to the experience.

Our Food, Beer, and Wine Garden was a standout feature, thanks to our incredible downtown beverage sponsors and food vendors. A huge shoutout to Pure Project, Costa Azul Winery, The Grilled Cheese King, and Nico’s Fish Market for making this a delicious part of the event.

We also want to acknowledge the City of Carlsbad for offering a complimentary bike valet service, operated by the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition. This thoughtful service ensured that approximately 50 bicycles, e-bikes, and accessories were safe, allowing attendees to enjoy the festivities worry-free.

A special thank you to First Team Real Estate for providing refreshments and snacks for our vendors, keeping them hydrated and happy on this hot day. Your thoughtful contribution made a world of difference to our vendors.
