Thank You for Making a Difference at the Heart of the Village Blood Drive

This past Saturday, the community came together once again for the Heart of the Village Blood Drive, and the results were truly inspiring. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we collected 68 units of blood, bringing our total impact for the year to an incredible 1,034 lives saved to date through this community drives.

With two blood donation buses on-site at the Barrio Glassworks parking lot, every appointment and last-minute donation played a crucial role in supporting patients in need. Whether you scheduled in advance or walked in to give, your contribution is making a real difference in our community.

We are also grateful to Handel’s Ice Cream for providing cone cards to all of our donors as a small token of appreciation. Saving lives is already a rewarding experience, but a little extra sweetness made the day even more special.

A heartfelt thank you to each and every donor, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this blood drive a success. Your generosity and kindness continue to strengthen our community in the most meaningful way.
