Thank You For Helping Us Keep The Village So Clean!

The Village has never looked better thanks to an epic weekend of clean-ups! We are so grateful for our partners, collaborators, and volunteers who work so hard to keep this Village looking spiffy.
Tidying up the town began on Friday, September 7th, with a Bitchin' Sauce team clean-up. The Bitchin' Sauce team reached out to the Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) and wanted to get involved in our efforts to clean downtown Carlsbad. CVA provided the Bitchin' team with cleaning supplies (bags and trash grabbers courtesy of Pure Carlsbad and CVA, as well as buckets courtesy of Handel's Carlsbad) and over a dozen volunteers set off to remove trash from our Village streets. Thank you Bitchin' Sauce team for your connection to community and your efforts to make our home a cleaner place.
On Saturday morning, the refresh of the Village continued at the bi-annual Richness of Giving (ROG) Community Clean-Up. A group of committed Carlsbad Village enthusiasts worked together to remove over 150lbs of trash downtown, including a lot of cigarette butts!
Thank you to host, Richness of Giving, for putting together such a tremendous day of giving back and to the partners, Republic Services, Handel's Ice Cream Carlsbad, Pure Project Carlsbad, Carlsbad High School C3 Clean Up Club, and Visit Carlsbad. We also would like to thank the Village Faire Shopping Center for giving all of us a home base for this amazing event.
We hope to see you at an upcoming clean-up in the Village to do it all over again. Click on Carlsbad Village Cleanups for more information.
