On Thursday, October 13th, the 5th Annual Taste of Carlsbad Village took over downtown Carlsbad Village in a grand celebration of its dining and beverage scene. Thanks to the generosity and support of First Team Real Estate, this culinary event of the year was a tremendous success.
With 31 restaurants, 17 sip stop host locations hosting local and regional beverage providers, as well as a VIP Experience offering a VIP reception and several special stops along the way, it was quite a night for the senses all the way around.

These are the small businesses in Carlsbad Village (with a few beverage providers from surrounding areas) that made this happen. Please visit them and show them your appreciation for sampling the night away to 900 lucky ticket holders in this year's big event.
We would like to thank our partners at Republic Services and EcoWater SoCal for being on hand to help make the night more enjoyable, and our 40+ volunteers who worked so hard to make this the best Taste of Carlsbad Village yet.
This event is environmental-friendly in that it avoided single use plastics at all costs. Each attendee used a stainless steel reusable spork (a great addition to your Charcuterie board at home afterwards) and restaurants were provided with compostable serve ware and napkins for each attendee. These items together helped eliminate the potential for 55,800 pieces of plastic ending up in the trash. For those with an upgraded Sip Stop ticket, they were issued a reusable stainless steel cup that helped eliminate up to 13,000 plastic drinking cups. CVA is very proud of this effort and will continue it for future events.
The 6th Annual Taste of Carlsbad Village is slated for Thursday, October 12, 2022. This event sells out every year, so be sure to sign up for our newsletter and follow us on social media to learn, in advance, when tickets are going on sale.
