Taste of Carlsbad Village Is Back With New Restaurants!

We're doing it! On October 14th from 5 pm to 8 pm, come taste your way through Carlsbad Village with us. Taste of Carlsbad Village 2021 - generously sponsored by First Team Real Estate - is a fantastic way to be introduced to the exquisite dining scene in downtown Carlsbad.

From the essential culinary must to the hottest new eats, Taste of Carlsbad Village allows you to experience first-hand the best restaurants, chefs, wineries, and craft brew the Carlsbad food scene has to offer. Carlsbad Village Association limits the number of tickets sold to ensure a quality experience for all involved and we sell out every year in advance of the event.

How Does Taste of Carlsbad Village Work?

Taste of Carlsbad Village is a self-guided tour of the Carlsbad Village food scene. Tasters are issued a Passport with a map of all participating businesses so that you can savor the food and company at your own pace in this “only in Carlsbad Village” experience. Approximately 30 restaurants and 12 sip stops will be included. Tickets will go on sale at the end of August. Stay tuned via our newsletter and social media for exact sale dates as they will be released soon.

VIP Experience

For the first time ever, Taste of Carlsbad Village will introduce its VIP Experience limited to just 75 people who will be able to visit three different VIP-only locations with a private taste adventure at Cafe Topes, followed by dessert stops at Barrio Glassworks (complete with live glassblowing demonstrations) and Beach Vibes, both just steps away. Dessert stops offer champagne, wine, macaroons, cake, and homemade fudge. The VIP Experience will also include reserved parking, a private shuttle to the VIP locations via the City of Carlsbad antique fire engine, live music, and an awesome swag bag with gift glass by Goverre!

From the low and slow bbq to fresh poke bites to decadent ravioli coated with a warm brown butter sage sauce, you’ll enjoy an endless variety of noteworthy tastes, both savory and sweet. The Sip Stops

Enjoy our favorite makers in the beverage space. Sip on a selection of local wine, craft beers, and hand-crafted Kombucha at designated retail and service locations throughout the Village. Enjoy craft beer from Pure Project and Rouleur Brewing Company and delectable wines from Witch Creek Winery, Carruth Winery, and even hard Kombucha from Flying Embers, to name just a few!
