Taste of Carlsbad Village: A Flavorful Night to Remember

Taste of Carlsbad Village was a true celebration of community and flavor, bringing together restaurants, beverage brands, businesses, and attendees for an unforgettable evening. The Village buzzed with excitement as locals and visitors enjoyed delicious food, refreshing drinks, and the vibrant atmosphere that made this event so special.

With 35 restaurants, 19 beverage vendors, and 17 sip stop locations, the event was a feast for the senses. One thousand ticket holders roamed the streets, savoring every bite and sip while enjoying the welcoming ambiance created by friendly staff, volunteers, and musicians.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this event possible - our vendors, volunteers, musicians, and especially the attendees. Your enthusiasm and support created a night to be proud of, and we can’t wait to do it all again!

Edible San Diego "Best Of" Taste of Carlsbad Village Winner:

This year we are introduced the "Best Of" Taste of Carlsbad Village, hosted by Edible San Diego. In addition to bragging rights until next year's event, the winner will receive a commemorative plaque to display at their restaurant and will also be featured in Edible San Diego, a premier food, drinks and lifestyle magazine with a deep-rooted connection to local food and healthy living. Thank you, Edible San Diego, for sponsoring this first annual showcase of our incredible dining scene downtown.

This year's winner is...Nick’s on State. Voted the “Best of” Taste of Carlsbad Village 2024 by event attendees for their maple glazed meatloaf. The dish is one of their house specialties, made with a maple chipotle gravy, caramelized onions, whipped potatoes, roasted pearl onions, carrots, and asparagus.
