Step into a World of Wonder with Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory

The Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) had a fantastic time at the opening night of Flicks at the Fountain and hope you did too! We are excited to continue this summer tradition with another enchanting evening featuring the beloved classic, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, on Thursday, July 18th.

This iconic film takes audiences on a delightful adventure through Willy Wonka’s whimsical chocolate factory, brimming with colorful characters, imaginative sets, and memorable songs. It’s a heartwarming story of wonder and imagination that’s perfect for a family night out. A special thank you goes to Sweet Spot and Carlsbad by the Sea Retirement Community for their generous support in making this magical movie night possible.

Feel free to have pizza delivered right to the Flicks at the Fountain lot! The movie will begin at dusk around 8:00 p.m. and finish by 10:00 p.m., offering a wonderful way to spend a summer evening with family, friends, and even your well-behaved, leashed dogs.

The fun doesn’t end there! The Flicks at the Fountain series continues with more fantastic movies: on July 25th, enjoy the colorful adventure of Trolls (PG), sponsored by Willes Orthodontics and Foundation Chiropractic; on August 1st, don’t miss the stylish escapades of Barbie (PG-13), brought to you by Carlsbad Village Music and Carlsbad Moke Rental; and on August 8th, the season finale will feature the action-packed Guardians of the Galaxy (PG-13), sponsored by Status Skateshop and Humble Olive Oils.
