Soaring into a Super Stellar Season Finale at Flicks at the Fountain!

As the summer winds down, the Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) is thrilled to host the grand finale of our popular event, Flicks at the Fountain. This Thursday, August 8, join us for a stellar screening of Guardians of the Galaxy (rated PG-13), a film that’s truly out of this world! This Marvel hit follows the adventures of Peter Quill and his ragtag group of extraterrestrial misfits—including Rocket, a genetically modified raccoon, and Groot, a tree-like humanoid—as they band together to stop a powerful villain from destroying the universe. With its humor, action, and heartwarming moments, Guardians of the Galaxy promises an unforgettable movie night for all ages.

Event Details:

For the season finale, seating will begin at 6:00 PM. We encourage you to arrive early to secure your spot. Bring your low-backed chairs and blankets for a comfortable evening. The movie will start at dusk, around 8:00 PM, and will conclude by 10:00 PM. Guests are welcome to bring their own picnic, or they can grab a meal from one of the many nearby restaurants. You can even have pizza delivered directly to the parking lot.
