Save The Date For The July 11th Village Voices Meeting

Village Voices is back! Mark your calendar for Tuesday, July 11, 2023.

Join us for complimentary coffee and pastries from 8:00am to 8:30am followed by a fast-paced, one hour meeting. You will not only be introduced to other business owners, managers, and residents, but you will learn about upcoming Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) events, important business news, and will hear from a guest speaker as well.

CVA's Executive Director, Christine Davis, will bring you up to date on current downtown Carlsbad development projects, city news, and CVA events. She will be followed by an amazing guest speaker who definitely knows her way around the small business community

July's guest speaker will be Cheryl Brown, the Center Director for the North San Diego SBDC and an expert in government procurement. Cheryl has counseled over 3,000 small businesses resulting in over $700,000,000 awarded contracts. As a small business owner herself, she brings a practical approach to counseling, moving small businesses forward through every step to achieve their goals. Her personal mission is to help small business owners create a better life for their families and the families they employ.

Carlsbad Village is home to small businesses of every type - from retail to dining to arts and entertainment to special services. To help support the needs of your business, the San Diego Small Business Development Center will be bringing you tools, resources and funding information geared to helping business owners be successful. Cheryl will be on site to introduce you to the services offered in San Diego that can help assist you in growing and succeeding with your small business. In collaboration with the Carlsbad Village Association, we will be introducing continuing opportunities tailored to your industry or specific needs like marketing and accounting.
