Doug Adams moved from Pennsylvania to San Diego in 1991 and began his Real Estate career helping buyers and sellers with their real estate dreams. Doug has worked at national firms such as Coldwell Banker to local firms such as Excel Properties and Sea Coast Exclusive Properties, and is now with Windermere Homes & Estates, a 49-year-old company with over 300 offices and 7,000 agents.

From the start of his real estate career, Doug has been an active member of the National and California Association of Realtors along with being a member in good standing of the North San Diego County Association of Realtors. He is also a member of the Carlsbad Village Association and routinely volunteers at CVA events like Flicks at the Fountain, Art in the Village, Taste of Carlsbad Village, the Makers Market, and more.

Experience counts. According to Doug, what he is seeing right now in the market, with historically low interest rates, coupled with low market inventory, is a very competitive sellers-market.

“There are a lot of home buyers right now, but not a lot of homes on the market,” Doug said. “So, we’re seeing multiple offers made on a home and very fast sales. Having someone with the experience to be able to successfully negotiate and represent during this process is key for a home buyer or someone looking to sell.”
