The time has come to say goodbye to single-use plastics at the State Street Farmers Market. Starting this March, vendors will no longer provide plastic bags or other disposable plastics per a California mandate.
To continue enjoying the bounty of fresh, local goods, be sure to BYOB - Bring Your Own Bag! Arm yourself with reusable totes, produce bags, baskets or other creative carriers. Choosing reusable over disposable is the sustainable choice and helps keep plastics out of waterways and landfills.
