With widened bike lanes and over 200 custom "Bike the Village" bike racks and corrals, combined with flat topography and beautiful weather, the Village is the perfect place to ride your bike. The future of urban mobility is here! With an emphasis on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, living a healthier lifestyle, and combating the high cost of gasoline, our two-pedal transport is looking pretty good these days.
Carlsbad Village has plans in its Village and Barrio Master Plan to improve our mobility factor, both on foot and by bike, but we are really light years ahead of some of our neighbors with the addition of over 200 bike racks and corrals, conveniently located throughout the Village.
