ROG's Carlsbad Community Clean-Up Is Better Than Ever

We are all in! Join us and a host of amazing local businesses, residents, and community groups on Saturday, September 9th to show our Village the love it deserves. Following a very successful Village-wide cleanup in March, where over 429 pounds of trash was removed from our downtown, we are back at it again. This cleanup is enthusiastically sponsored by Richness of Giving, a local non-profit whose mission is to help feed, shelter, and educate children by providing resources and financial support that directly impacts communities locally and globally.

Richness of Giving is joined by co-sponsors Visit Carlsbad as well as Pure Project Carlsbad and Handel's Carlsbad, who are donating clean-up supplies to make this easy and fun!

The Vista Community Clinic Tobacco Prevention Team will be out in force to help us focus on cigarettes and tobacco waste and will be specifically measuring this type of trash collected for reporting purposes. 

Come spend a couple hours in the Village with your fellow downtown enthusiasts. We will be starting at the Village Faire Shopping Center courtyard at 9am with the cleanup going strong through 11am. There will be coffee and pastries on hand for our superstar volunteers!
