It’s time for Carlsbad's second Community Clean-Up of the year, and you are invited to be a part of it! On Saturday, May 18, at 9:30 a.m., get ready for a morning of cleaning, community bonding, and plenty of fun as we work together to keep Carlsbad clean.
Thanks to The Carlsbad Village Association's wonderful co-hosts, Pure Project Carlsbad and Handel's Ice Cream, we've got everything we need to make this event a success! Meet us at Pure Project, located at 2825 State Street, where we'll provide gloves, bags, and plenty of enthusiasm to get started. Our friends at Baba Coffee are also bringing delicious coffee to keep us energized as we tackle the streets and sidewalks.
The last clean-up event was a huge success, with our community collecting an impressive 245 pounds of litter, bringing our total haul from these events to over 2,000 pounds! It's amazing what we can accomplish when we work together. Let's aim to collect even more this time around.
As a thank-you for your hard work, every volunteer will receive a voucher for a free cone from Handel's Ice Cream and $1 off pints at Pure Project Carlsbad. Because who doesn't love a little reward after a job well done?
