The recently opened Le Papagayo (660 Carlsbad Village Dr.) offers a unique fusion of Mediterranean and Latin American cuisine along with nightly entertainment. Like the original location, which first opened in 2003, there is a Latin American and Mediterranean fusion menu in the hands of native San Diegan, Executive Chef Michael Lina, who joined the team this year after previously working in the kitchens at Union Kitchen & Tap in Encinitas and Crush Solana Beach.
