Join us on Saturday, October 8th, for our next Carlsbad Village Clean-up hosted by Carlsbad Village Association members Pure Project and Handel's Ice Cream. We are proud to be at it again and making a difference in our community!
Bring a friend or family, and we will supply the buckets and bags (both provided for the event by Pure Project and Handel's) to continue our efforts to keep Carlsbad Village clean, green, and ocean pollution-free!
This month's focus will come on the tail of the 38th annual Coastal Cleanup Day on September 17th and last month's Carlsbad Community Cleanup hosted by Richness of Giving on August 20th. October's cleanup will be one of a half dozen or more that have taken place specifically in downtown Carlsbad.
Plastic Beach, a local non-profit that facilitates plastic film materials recycling at the pre-consumer stage at small and large companies will be joining us as well. Plastic Beach is a 501(c)3 non-profit that is saving the environment one plastic sheet at a time. Come learn more about their focus and how they are working with local business and retail partners to collect their waste plastic film materials.
