Lofty Coffee Celebrates 10th Anniversary With Its New Location In Carlsbad Village

Carlsbad Village runs on coffee. Each coffee house or café throughout the Village, whether along Carlsbad Blvd., in the Village Faire Shopping Center, or in the heart of downtown, offers something just a little bit different. However, all offer one thing in common, and serve it up in large quantities: a sense of community.

The team behind Lofty Coffee just celebrated the company's 10-year anniversary with the Grand Opening of its newest location right here in Carlsbad Village, in the new State Street Commons, on May 17th. This is the 6th location for the Lofty Coffee team who first made their name in Encinitas.

Open every day from 7am to 4pm, Lofty Coffee offers handcrafted coffee drinks, homemade pastries, and delicious food like Oven Roasted Turkey & Avocado Croissant, Organic Acai Bowl, and Organic French Toast, to name just three items on their ample menu. They even offer special kid’s drinks, breakfast items, and food. 

As a coffee roaster, Lofty Coffee’s goal is to source the most delicious coffee available. They fill their shelves with coffees that showcase the flavor of their origin and that allows them to show the variety that the coffee world has to offer. They seek out farms, co-ops and importers from around the world that grow and transport in a sustainable manner to ensure the quality and consistency of their coffee. 

Every day the ovens of the Lofty Coffee bakery are filled with sheets of hand-rolled croissants, muffins and cookies to create the day’s supply of scratch-made pastries. They also bake a variety of wheat-free pastry, press fresh organic juice, make their own almond milk, steep their chai and more. Their philosophy and approach is simple. They start from scratch with everything they make so they can authentically tell you that all of their delicious goods are made with natural, organic, local ingredients.
