Kick Off 2025 by Sprucing Up the Village at Our First Clean-Up

We’re so excited to start the new year with our Carlsbad Village Community Clean-Up on Saturday, January 11th, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM! Together with Pure Project Carlsbad and Handel’s Carlsbad, we’re continuing this amazing community effort to keep our Village clean and beautiful.

Volunteers will receive a free coffee voucher from Baba Coffee, a scoop of ice cream from Handel’s, and $1 off pints from Pure Project as a thank-you for their help. We’re grateful to Handel’s for providing used ice cream buckets for trash collection and to Pure Project for lending trash pickers and grain bags, repurposed from their brewing process, to help keep the clean-up efficient and waste-free.

New This Year: Trash Weight Contest!

We’re introducing a fun new challenge to make this year’s clean-ups even more impactful. At every clean-up, we’ll weigh the trash collected by individuals, families, or groups, and log the results. At the end of the year, the participant or team that collects the most trash will not only have impressive bragging rights but will also win free trash service for 6 months courtesy of Republic Services!

This is your chance to make a difference in the community, enjoy some local perks, and maybe even win an incredible prize. Let’s set the tone for 2025 and break some records at this first event!
