When you live in Bar Harbor, Maine or Hartford, Connecticut, it's not hard to get in the holiday spirit early and make it last. Downtown villages and towns are transformed into scenes plucked straight from a holiday Disney movie. But in Carlsbad, where it can be t-shirt weather or you can take a swim (albeit a brisk one) in the ocean on Christmas day, it's sometimes a struggle to find the spirit.
Well have no fear - Carlsbad Village is coming to your rescue! This holiday season, with the help of businesses throughout the village, we will be turning downtown Carlsbad into a Winter Wonderland. More details will follow shortly, but for now, mark you calendar to spend November 27th (Black Friday) November 28th (Small Business Saturday) and the entire holiday shopping season with us in the Village. You are guaranteed to find one-of-kind gifts and name brand products, all with small-town customer service.
Starting November 27 and running through December 15, you will be able to vote for your favorite store window display in our special "People's Choice" award. Details will be available in November at participating businesses and on the Carlsbad Village Association website. Until then, start working on your shopping list and let the Village merchants make this your best holiday ever!
