Christmas Carols Come Alive With 'Merry Melodies' In The Village

The Carlsbad Village Association is thrilled to launch its Merry Melodies in the Village holiday music series this Friday, December 8th in Carlsbad Village on the corner of State Street and Grand Avenue.

Talented local musicians will perform live renditions of beloved holiday songs during the festive series on two consecutive Friday nights in the Village.

Kicking off the event on December 8th, the outstanding Carlsbad High School Vocal Music Program will fill the Village with joyful Christmas carols from 5pm to 7pm. Attendees can enjoy complimentary hot chocolate with whipped cream and candy canes while listening to the cheerful performance.

The Vocal Music Program will also hold their Winter Concert on December 15th and 16th at the Carlsbad Cultural Arts Center, with tickets available for purchase at GoFan.com. They welcome donations via this link to support the program's competitions, costumes, choreography, set designs and arrangements.

The festivities in Carlsbad Village will continue on Friday, December 15th, from 5pm to 7pm, when vocalists Lauren and Leilani share their jazzy, classic holiday tunes and original songs. You'll delight in Lauren's jazz-infused classics and originals, accompanied by Leilani on piano and flute.
