Festive holiday windows and window displays are popping up throughout the Village! It might be in the 80's but we're still in the holiday mood. For the third year, the Carlsbad Village Association has hosted a Window Decorating Contest for the merchants in the Village. Participating locations will be listed on the CVA website starting December 2nd and you can vote for your favorite! Three lucky winners will be awarded prizes that will include free advertising in Carlsbad Magazine and the Coast News newspaper.
City Council Members Cori Schumacher and Keith Blackburn will stroll the Village starting December 16th to search out the window or display that they wish to select as a winner. A dedicated group from the Carlsbad Boys and Girls Club will do the same to choose their favorite. And then the People's Choice vote will be selected via the CVA website. Three lucky winners will be announced in the CVA eNewsletter on Wednesday, December 20th.
