Festive Holiday Happenings In Carlsbad Village This December

The holiday season fills Carlsbad Village with festive cheer! In addition to the Carlsbad Village Association hosting Merry Melodies in the Village, which brings Christmas music performed by local musicians to the streets, our CVA members will also host family-friendly holiday activities. From wreath making to fundraisers, and more, there will surely be fun for all ages! Check CVA's event calendar and list below for the full range of festivities happening in the Village this season. 

One Warm Coat Drive hosted by CalRes, now til Dec. 16th: Accepting new or gently used coat donations for One Warm Coat. They are still in need of children's coats. Drop off at CalRes at 2691 State Street or contact CalRes for pick up.

Italian Holiday Night hosted by GelatoLove | Thursday, Dec. 7th | 6:00pm-9:00pm

Stuff The Bus!, Saturday, Dec. 9th | 9am-1pm: Join Carlsbad Unified School District’s Youth Enrichment Services (YES!) and the Boys & Girls Club of Carlsbad for its annual gift giving. Bring an unwrapped present for kids 6-12 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. to 3115 Roosevelt St. to stuff the bus!

Carols & Cannoli Dance Party, Saturday, Dec. 9th | 4:30pm-6:30pm: Join cast members of 1222 Oceanfront: A Black Family Christmas and the NVA Staff between shows on December 9th for Carols, Cannolis, and more! Admission is FREE but NVA does request you reserve a spot! 

Engel & Volkers Holiday Party, Saturday, Dec. 9th | 5:00pm-7:00pm: Santa Claus is coming back to Carlsbad Village! Join Engel and Völkers on Saturday, December 9 from 5-7 pm for their annual Holiday Party. Want to see Santa, but parties are overwhelming? Engel & Volkers has sensory friendly appointments with Santa available from 2-4:30 pm before the party starts. Call Laurie at 442-500-8888 to schedule your complimentary session.

Tis the Season Holiday Open House at Village Faire, Saturday, Dec. 9th | 11am-3pm: On Saturday, December 9th from 11 am to 3 pm, the Village Faire's annual holiday open house will take place, offering holiday cheer including restaurant specials, shopping discounts, prizes, treats, and live music from Gin N Tonix. Throughout the day, refreshments and prize drawings will be available in the courtyard for those with receipts from Village Faire businesses. From 12-3 pm, Mister Twister Balloon Entertainment will also provide balloon animals for kids.

Opera a la Carte: Holiday Extravaganza, Tuesday, Dec. 12th | 7pm-9pm.

Señor Grubby's Holiday Fundraiser, Wednesday, Dec. 13th | 6pm-8pm: Señor Grubby's in Carlsbad Village will be hosting a Christmas Party and collecting non perishable food donations for Got Your Back San Diego, helping local families who are food insecure. 

Holiday Wreath Making Workshop, Thursday, Dec. 14th | 5pm-7pm: Join Jolene Marquez, a florist with over 25 yrs experience, as she walks you through a step by step process in making a beautiful holiday wreath. Thoughtfully sourced materials will be provided, including lots of seasonal greenery and pretty ribbon and accents.
