We need your help! According to the American Red Cross, every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. Donating blood is a life-saving resource for injuries, surgeries and cancer treatment. On Saturday, February 9th, from 10am to 3pm, CVA will host its second annual blood drive in the heart of the Village. The San Diego Blood Mobile will be located at Mission Federal Credit Union (710 Carlsbad Village Drive) who has graciously offered to be our host location. We need your help! Last year we helped donate 51 units of blood. Help us beat those numbers this year. Schedule your appointment online today at DONATE. And as a thank you for your participation, many Village businesses will be providing donors with specials and discounts starting February 9 and running through Valentine's Day. Donors will also receive a reusable CVA mini tote bag with goodies provided by Village businesses. Enjoy light refreshments from local businesses and live music from local musicians.
