Help Make An Impact On Someone's Life This Saturday

Whether a patient receives whole blood, red cells, platelets or plasma, this lifesaving care starts with one person making a generous donation. One donation can potentially save up to three lives. Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood.

The Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) has been hosting blood drives annually for four years with what started as CVA board member, Heidi Willes' (Willes Orthodontics) desire to make a difference. Thanks to her encouragement, we now hold a blood drive every February in honor of Valentine's Day and this year we are hosting our second blood drive to help address the current blood supply shortage.

To date, CVA has impacted the lives of more than 450 people and hopes to add another 100 lives positively affected this Saturday!
