Get your costumes and candy bags ready because Carlsbad Village is about to be taken over by Halloween magic this Saturday, October 26, for Halloween in the Village! It’s a full day of frightful fun, with trick-or-treating, costume contests, carnival games, and spooky surprises for all ages.
The Spooky Schedule:
• Trick-or-Treating: Kick off the fun at 2:00 pm, and let the candy hunt begin! Roam through the Village, collecting sweet treats from participating businesses. Be one of the first 250 costumed kids to grab a free jack-o-lantern goodie bucket at 2697 State Street, then hit the candy stops and fill it up!
• Costume Contests: Show off your Halloween creativity at the Village Faire Shopping Center (300 Carlsbad Village Dr.) at 4:00 pm. Whether you’re the Spookiest, Most Creative, or part of a Best Group or Family ensemble, you’ll have a chance to win big and bask in Halloween glory.
• Carnival Games & Bounce House: Ready for some classic Halloween fun? Head over to the Boys and Girls Club (3115 Roosevelt St.) between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm for carnival games and a bounce house that will keep the excitement going all afternoon.
• Sensory and Allergy Friendly Calm Zone: If you or your little ones need a break from the spooky action, stop by Engel & Völkers Carlsbad (2965 Roosevelt St.) in collaboration with the Shine Project, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. This calm zone offers non-food treats, crafts, games, and a chill environment for everyone to enjoy.

Plan your trick-or-treating route with our Candy Stop Map that will be updated daily and ready to go on Saturday! Participating businesses will be handing out goodies all through the Village, so grab your map at the jack-o-lantern giveaway or check it online to make sure you hit every sweet spot.
