We’re getting egg-cited for part two of All Paws Lead to Carlsbad happening this Easter weekend!
Visit Carlsbad, the city's official Destination Marketing Organization, launched this pet-friendly tourism initiative last month, making travel to the destination with your pet a breeze. The Carlsbad Village Association has helped coordinate a few downtown experiences that will get your pup spruced up and ready for a paw-fect Easter Day.
Give your furry friend a really good hare day! On Friday, April 7th and Saturday April 8th, Carlsbad Pet and Feed (2832 State St.) will be hosting "Splish Splash Spa Days." The day will include access to their self-wash stations, complimentary nail trims from 11am to 5pm, and a free doggy treat bag. Vendors will be on site. Call 760-434-0930 to reserve a self-wash tub; walk-ins welcome!
Don’t worry, be hoppy! On Friday, April 7th, from 3pm to 5pm, Pure Project Carlsbad (2825 State St.) is hosting another festive “Yappy Hour” where guests will receive a discount off their pint when they bring a four legged friend to their taproom. They will have an onsite raffle and Boozy Bones dog treats available, which are sustainable, healthy dog treats made with spent grain from SD Breweries. A fun photo backdrop for you and your best friend will help capture the moment. They will also be collecting donations for the local animal shelter.
And don't forget to look for Carruth Cellar's special Instagram photo contest on @carruthcellars with a custom “I need a drink” doggy bowl. Stop by the Carruth Cellars Tasting Room at 2727 State St. for more details.
All Paws Lead to Carlsbad festivities will be happening through the end of the month, so be sure to check the Visit Carlsbad website for the scoop and to view the entire city-wide event calendar!
