We're excited to be introducing what we hope to be the first of many fun, interactive, blown glass treasure hunts, in collaboration with downtown's very own Barrio Glassworks. Inspired by glass float hunt events in Lincoln City, Oregon and Block Island, Rhode Island, to name just two, Barrio Glassworks will create 50 collectible glass hearts that will be hidden throughout Carlsbad Village starting Feburary 6th. CVA will host a Treasure Hunt where community members will be given clues about where they can find the hearts during the two-week period. Each heart will be engraved with the year and number and the finder will be asked to register their heart on the CVA-hosted website. Each heart will have a label affixed to it that will tell the finder where to register their found heart.
