The Carlsbad Village Association truly did not know if Flicks at the Fountain would happen this year. After such a tumultuous 2020 and first half of 2021, it was just four short weeks ago that we started pulling this beloved, free community event together. Thanks to the unending generosity of our two Title Sponsors Engel & Volkers and Handel's Ice Cream, in addition to our Promotion Sponsors Pure Project Carlsbad and the UPS Store in Carlsbad Village, we were able to get this project off the ground. Then the individual movie sponsors came through - Beach City Smoothies, Chanel Bennett (First Team Real Estate), Foundation Chiropractic, Paradise Pizza, Status Skateshop, Trove Marketplace, Vigilucci's, Village Faire Shopping Center - to make it a reality. It truly took a Village to get this event pulled together in such a short amount of time.

July 29 - Ghostbusters
August 5 - Frozen (with costume contest)
August 12 - Star Wars: A New Hope
This free, community event is open to all ages. Come drop your chairs and blankets at 6pm to reserve your space. The movies start at 8pm, or as soon as it is dark enough. Grab dinner in the Village before the movie or bring a picnic dinner. Or even order something for delivery!
Location: At the iconic fountain parking lot at the corner of Grand Avenue and State Street.
