Flicks at the Fountain: A Magical Summer Tradition in Carlsbad Village

It’s almost show time! Join us in the heart of Carlsbad Village for five magical Thursday nights of movies under the stars, from July 11th to August 8th, at Flicks at the Fountain. This beloved summer tradition transforms the fountain parking lot into an enchanting outdoor theater, with a lineup that promises fun for all ages. The 2024 season begins on July 11th with Disney’s beloved classic, “The Little Mermaid ” (rated G). Dive into the captivating tale of Ariel, a young mermaid who dreams of exploring the human world. In her quest for love and adventure, Ariel makes a daring deal with the sea witch Ursula, trading her voice for human legs to win the heart of Prince Eric. Arrive early to secure the perfect spot—seating starts at 6:00 p.m. Bring low-backed chairs and blankets, enjoy a picnic, or grab a meal from one of the local eateries. You can even have pizza delivered right to the Flicks at the Fountain lot! Movies start at dusk (around 8 p.m.) and wrap up by 10 p.m., providing the perfect way to enjoy a summer evening with family and friends. Invite your friends, neighbors, and even your well-behaved, leashed dogs. Flicks at the Fountain is a fantastic, family-friendly event that everyone will love.
