Carlsbad elementary school students are invited to take part in a special mural painting experience with local artist and Valley Middle School art teacher, Mr. Snyder. Taking place this Sunday, March 2nd, from 10 AM to 1PM at the Alley Art Wall (550 Grand Ave.), this event offers young artists a chance to contribute to a community art piece while exploring their creativity.
The mural will be prepped with a fun and colorful design, and all supplies will be provided by the Alley Art Wall. No experience is needed!

“I’m looking to provide a fun and inspiring day for students while also introducing them to my elective class art program offered at Valley Middle School,” said Mr. Snyder. “The Explore Wheel is the perfect option for students looking to try multiple creative classes throughout the school year.”
The Explore Wheel elective is open to all incoming Valley Middle School 6th graders, giving them the opportunity to rotate through different creative classes. Students spend 13 weeks in art with Mr. Snyder before transitioning to digital photography for the next 13 weeks, with additional hands-on classes rounding out a full year of artistic exploration.
This event is a great way for young artists to express themselves, be part of a public art piece, and learn about creative opportunities in middle school.
