Cherimarie started her business in 2014 after enjoying a particularly memorable food tour in Carmel, California, and realized how perfect a similar concept would be for Carlsbad Village. She became a member of the Global Food Tourism Association and hasn’t looked back.

Carlsbad Food Tours is a guided walking tour of historic Carlsbad Village with eight stops at unique eateries, wine tasting, historical, cultural and architectural presentations. While the restaurants might change throughout the season, you are sure to get your fill of Italian, Mexican, French, and California cuisine, enjoying both sweet and savory dishes.

Carlsbad Food Tours can be enjoyed in either a private group setting or with new friends. Cherimarie has hosted food enthusiasts from Canada, England, Germany, and all throughout Europe, as well as semi-locals who visit each year. In today’s Covid-aware world, all tour guests will be screened for symptoms upon arrival, asked to use hand sanitizer, and to bring and wear a face covering when not eating or drinking. For the time being, groups will be limited to 10 people or less.
