Double The Love This Year At Hearts Of Carlsbad Village!

Are you ready for a heart-pumping scavenger hunt? This year, Hearts of Carlsbad Village has double the number of gorgeous hearts that will be hidden around town - 400 to be exact. That's right, 400 unique, blown glass hearts, courtesy of Barrio Glassworks, will be hidden all around the Village, which is twice as many as last year! That's double the fun and double the chance to find a heart. 

Get ready for the hunt on February 10-11. Search high and low through the heart of the Village to find these sparkling glass gems. Grab your best buds and family members for a fun jaunt around downtown Carlsbad, where you just might stumble upon a lovely souvenir, if you're lucky. If you discover one, make sure to register it on the Carlsbad Village Association website. You'll be entered to win incredible prizes like a private glass blowing session at Barrio Glassworks. 

But even if you don't uncover a heart, you'll be sure to make priceless memories together. And don't worry - Barrio Glassworks is offering a "local's discounts" on hearts in their store so everyone wins! Whether you find a heart or not, it's guaranteed to be an unforgettable outing.

BASIC RULES OF THE HUNT

• The hunt starts at 9:00am on the morning of Saturday, February 10th and the last hearts are in place by 2:00pm on Sunday, February 11th. As hearts are found and registered, we will update the event page on our website accordingly, approximately at the top of each hour.
• Hearts are hidden throughout the day over the two-day period (200 each day).
• Hearts are hidden, outdoors, in plain sight in Carlsbad Village; there's no need to look too hard.
• A map is not required, but we will have outlined general Village boundaries on our website.
• Iconic locations might include historic sites, near public artwork, a public park, outside a hotel, or common areas where you might sit for a while and relax, or where you might go to shop and dine.
• Hearts will not be hidden at the train station or anywhere near the railroad tracks. They will not be hidden on the rail trails or on the beach.
• Hearts will not be hidden inside or on the Barrio Glassworks property, although please do visit their art gallery and retail store and watch glassblowing in progress. Glass hearts will be for sale at Barrio Glassworks.
• One heart per person. We thank you for your cooperation on this.
