Organized by the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, this one-day event is a highlight of the year, featuring a vibrant mix of arts, crafts, antiques, music, and delicious international cuisine.

Known as one of the largest single-day street fairs in the nation, the Carlsbad Village Street Faire attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year. This Sunday, downtown Carlsbad will be transformed into a bustling festival with over 750 unique vendors offering an array of goods from around the world. Parking can be challenging due to the event’s popularity, so take advantage of the free shuttles running every 15 minutes from convenient pick-up points. Shuttle locations include:

• The northwest corner of Marron Rd and Monroe St.
• Shoppes at Carlsbad Plaza Camino Real (Highway 78 and Jefferson)
• Poinsettia Coaster Station (Poinsettia exit off of I-5)

For those with limited mobility, handicap parking is available, though space is also limited.

Free Bike Valet Service

Planning to ride your bike to the event? The City of Carlsbad offers a complimentary bike valet service at the Engel & Völkers parking lot at 2965 Roosevelt St. Here’s how it works:

• Ride your bike or e-bike to the valet check-in station (helmets recommended).
• An attendant from the San Diego County Bike Coalition will tag your bike and provide a matching claim wristband.
• Enjoy the street fair, knowing your bike is securely monitored.
• Retrieve your bike with your wristband when you’re ready to leave.
