In honor of National Volunteer Appreciation Month, the Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) wants to send a very heartfelt THANK YOU to those of you who have helped us in the past, to those who are helping us today, and to those who will be part of our team in the future. It truly takes a Village to make our events and community outreach successful.
We know life is busy and that is why we appreciate your commitment to helping CVA (a small but mighty non-profit association) make Carlsbad Village a safer, cleaner and more engaged community for everyone - we are truly Better Together!
Volunteer Opportunities
From our weekly State Street Farmers Market where volunteers meet and interact with Village residents, Carlsbad locals, and visitors from across the US and abroad, to the 25th Annual Art in the Village fine art show that hosts 115 local and regional fine artists, to the annual Taste of Carlsbad Village culinary event of the year, CVA would love your help and involvement.
While we know that "repayment" isn't why you volunteer to improve your local community, we can say that farmers market volunteers receive Market Money to spend at the farmers market and Taste of Carlsbad Village volunteers receive actual "Taste" passports to enjoy the evening free of charge! Volunteering has its benefits - it feels good, it introduces you to other Carlsbad enthusiasts, and it supports the amazing small businesses downtown.
