Construction is nearing completion on the Grand Avenue Improvement Project.
Crews will begin paving Grand Avenue Tuesday, September 15 for three consecutive nights, between the hours of 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. During construction hours, Grand Avenue will be closed in both directions from just east of the railroad track to Jefferson Street in Carlsbad Village. Surrounding businesses and residents can expect intermittent noise and lights from construction activities.
Approximately one week after paving is complete, crews will restripe Grand Avenue and construction on the Grand Avenue Improvement Project will be complete by late September.
