Celebrating Handel’s Carlsbad’s Community Impact Award!

We are so proud of our Village Partner member, Handel’s Carlsbad, for taking home TWO well-deserved awards at the 2025 Carlsbad Business Achievement & Distinction (CBAD) Awards! They were honored with both the Community Impact Award and the Kind Company Inspiration Award, recognizing their incredible dedication to giving back and making a difference.

Built by partners Marcus Weenig and Travis Campbell, Handel’s Carlsbad isn’t just about serving amazing ice cream, they’re about building community. They show up for local events, support organizations, and always find ways to spread kindness. Their generosity and commitment are felt throughout the Village, and it’s no surprise they’ve been recognized for the impact they make every day.

The Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) values them not only as a Village Partner but as a true friend to the community. Congratulations, Handel’s Carlsbad! These awards are a reflection of who you are which is kind, generous, and always there to make Carlsbad Village a better (and sweeter) place.
