Celebrate May in Carlsbad Village with Food, Community, and Connection

As we head into May, the Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) invites you to take part in a month full of community, connection, and celebration. Whether you’re interested in giving back, learning what’s new around town, or indulging in a delicious Village brunch experience, there’s something for everyone.

The month kicks off with the Carlsbad Village Community Clean-Up on Saturday, May 10. Volunteers are invited to meet at Pure Project Carlsbad at 9:30 AM to help keep our beautiful Village streets clean and vibrant. With eco-friendly supplies provided, it’s an easy and impactful way to start your weekend and contribute to CVA’s goal of removing more than 4,000 pounds of litter this year.

A few days later, on Tuesday, May 13, the community comes together again for Village Voices, CVA’s bi-monthly networking and information-sharing meeting. Held at the Dea Hurston New Village Arts Center, Village Voices offers coffee, pastries, and casual networking from 8:00 to 8:45 AM, followed by a program highlighting important updates and opportunities in the Village from 8:45 AM to 9:30 AM. It’s open to business owners, staff, and residents who want to stay connected and involved.

Finally, on Saturday, May 17, CVA invites you to savor the flavors of spring at Taste of Carlsbad Village: Brunch Edition (tickets are going fast!) From 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, enjoy a self-guided tasting experience featuring Village restaurants and cafés serving up breakfast bites, specialty coffee creations, and refreshing brunch cocktails, all set to the sounds of live music throughout the Village.
