Carlsbad Village Treasure Hunt Brings Fun And Safe Way To Enjoy Downtown

Come experience downtown Carlsbad like never before and get to know the Village businesses, history, and iconic places a little bit more. CVA’s first-ever Carlsbad Village Treasure Hunt is a safe way to have some fun exploring our amazing downtown. Did we mention there’s $1,000 in prizes being given away?

Small Business Saturday holiday is November 28th. This is a day when the businesses that line downtowns all over America are celebrated. The solopreneurs, Mom and Pop shops, and small family businesses are front and center as shoppers return to “main street” for good old fashioned customer service and exceptional variety. It is an important day for small businesses nationwide. Actually, it is an entire weekend of celebration.

With the health pandemic making group gatherings and events prohibitive, the Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) decided to host an innovative and interactive Treasure Hunt game that would enable individual shoppers, couples, and family units the opportunity to experience downtown Carlsbad and get to know the Village businesses, history, and iconic places a little bit better. The game will culminate at the conclusion of the Small Business Saturday weekend. $1,000 in prizes will be given away to lucky winners, sponsored by participating businesses all throughout Carlsbad Village.

Learn more about the Carlsbad Village Treasure Hunt starting Friday, November 13th and download the Treasure Hunt game card. Use the game card as your guide as you play along through November 29th. This is a free event; no purchase necessary.

There are over 20 Treasure Hunt tasks/clues on the game card. As you play, fill in your answers on the game card. If the game calls for a selfie or a photograph, take it and retain it for future use. If you correctly complete 13 of the tasks, you will be eligible to be entered into the prize drawing. If you complete all tasks you will be eligible to be entered into the Grand Prize drawing. Submit your entry by taking a photo of your game card and email it to event@carlsbad-village.com by November 29, 2020 at 11:59pm. Winners will be randomly chosen on Monday, November 30th and will need to submit evidence of selfies/photos after being notified. Winners will be announced on the CVA website, social media accounts, and the CVA eNewsletter on December 2nd.
