Brace yourself for a wickedly fun day on Saturday, October 26th, as Carlsbad Village transforms into a Halloween playground! From trick-or-treating to costume contests, carnival games, and spooky surprises, it’s a must for your fall calendar.
The Highlights:
Safe Business-to-Business Trick-or-Treating: Starting at 2:00PM, ghouls, ghosts, and superheroes alike can roam the Village, collecting treats from participating businesses. Be sure to stop by 2697 State Street early because the first 250 kids in costume get a free jack-o-lantern bucket to stash their candy treasures! Look for a candy corn decal in participating business windows. If you are a Village business interested in participating, please email chanel@carlsbad-village.com.
Costume Contests: Join the fun at the Village Faire Shopping Center (300 Carlsbad Village Dr.) with contests for kids, teens, and families. Think your costume is spine-chilling, jaw-dropping, or just plain awesome? Put it to the test at the costume contest at 4:00PM! Categories include Spookiest, Most Creative, and Best Group or Family.
Carnival Games & Bounce House: Head over to the Boys and Girls Club (3115 Roosevelt St.) between 3:00PM and 7:00PM. Test your aim at the game booths or take a bounce in the inflatable house. Classic Halloween fun at its finest!
Sensory and Allergy Friendly Calm Zone: Need a breather from all the thrills? Head to Engel & Völkers Carlsbad (2965 Roosevelt St.), in partnership with The Shine Project Foundation, from 2:00PM to 6:00PM for a more relaxed Halloween experience, with crafts, games, and non-food treats. It’s the perfect spot to recharge before heading back into the action.
