Carlsbad State Street Sweep: Help Keep Downtown Carlsbad Beautiful!

This Saturday, September 21st, from 9 AM to 12 PM, join your neighbors for the Carlsbad State Street Sweep, a special Coastal Cleanup Day event! Hosted in partnership with Pure Project Carlsbad, Handel’s Ice Cream Carlsbad and the Carlsbad Village Association (CVA), this local effort is part of the 40th annual Coastal Cleanup Day organized by I Love A Clean San Diego.

Volunteers will gather outside Pure Project Brewery (2825 State St.), where gloves and buckets will be provided. You can bring your own gear if preferred, and while pre-registration is recommended, you’ll also be able to sign up on the day of the event.

Dress comfortably, wear closed-toe shoes, and don’t forget sun protection and a water bottle. A site captain will be on hand for check-in and safety instructions. Volunteers under 18 will need a guardian’s signature on the release-of-liability waiver, which can be signed in advance or at the event.

Afterward, enjoy a free coffee or discounts on specialty drinks at Baba Coffee, a free cone card from Handel’s Ice Cream, and discounted pints at Pure Project as a thank-you for helping keep Carlsbad clean and beautiful.
