Annual Shop with a Cop Pancake Breakfast is Next Saturday

Join the Carlsbad community for the annual Shop with a Cop Pancake Breakfast fundraiser on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Magee Park. This family-friendly event, hosted by the Carlsbad Police Department and Richness of Giving, brings together local businesses and organizations to support a wonderful cause.

Start your morning with a delicious breakfast prepared by Señor Grubby’s, Mas Fina Cantina, and The Compass, featuring pancakes, eggs, sausage or bacon, fruit, coffee, and juice. Guests can also enjoy treats from Baba Coffee and Handel’s Ice Cream.

In addition to breakfast, families can enjoy a variety of activities throughout the morning. From 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Scripps Hospital’s Trauma Prevention team will be on hand to provide free helmets and fittings for children. Frontwave Arena and the Boys and Girls Club will be hosting games, adding extra fun for the little ones. Exciting demonstrations will include a K9 demo, a look inside the SWAT BearCat, CBPD’s Beach Polaris, and a vintage police car, giving attendees a unique peek into the world of law enforcement.

The event will also feature an opportunity drawing, with tickets available for $5.00 each or $20.00 for five entries. A raffle and silent auction will give participants a chance to win exciting prizes, all while supporting the Shop with a Cop program. Click here for more information.
