A Sparkling Success: Carlsbad's Community Clean-Up Strikes Again!

In a vibrant display of community unity, Carlsbad residents once again rallied together for the city's second Community Clean-Up of the year, held on Saturday, May 18. With eager anticipation, volunteers gathered at Pure Project and Handel’s Carlsbad, ready to embark on a mission to preserve the beauty of our beloved city.

Equipped with gloves, bags, and a shared sense of purpose, participants set out to scour the streets, sidewalks, and planters of Carlsbad. And their efforts did not disappoint! By the end of the morning, a remarkable 193 pounds of trash had been collected - a testament to the dedication and hard work of everyone involved.

The event was made even more enjoyable thanks to the support of local businesses. Baba Coffee provided much-needed caffeine boosts to keep volunteers energized, while Handel’s Ice Cream and Pure Project Carlsbad offered incentives in the form of free ice cream cones and discounted pints for those who participated.

This year's clean-up marked another significant milestone for the community, bringing the total haul from these events to over 2,000 pounds of litter removed from Carlsbad's streets. It's clear that when people come together with a shared goal, incredible things can be achieved.

As we look ahead to future events, let's continue to work together to keep Carlsbad clean, green, and beautiful for years to come!
