A Bounty of Surprises at the State Street Farmers Market

The State Street Farmers Market joined markets nationwide to celebrate National Farmers Market Week from August 4th - 10th, 2024. In honor of this special occasion, the Carlsbad Village Association delighted some lucky market goers with market money and generous “Bounty Bags” filled with local treasures.

No purchase was necessary to participate in this giveaway, which aimed to introduce visitors to new vendors or surprise them with treats from their favorites. Four lucky winners each walked away with a beautifully curated Bounty Bag valued at $65 each. Each winner received a custom Carlsbad branded reusable tote bag, $25 in Market Money to use at the market, a protein selection up to $25, and a beautiful bouquet of flowers for their dinner table. Each winner chose their "main entree" between beef from Perennial Pastures, poultry or pork from Three Sons Farm, fish from Dry Dock Fish Co., or lentil pasta from Bisogno Pasta.
