Art in the Village is just one month away! On Sunday, June 23rd, from 9 am to 5 pm, downtown Carlsbad will play host the 26th Annual Art in the Village. This event will transform Grand Avenue and State Streets into a vibrant art hub, featuring 130 fine artists from the region and Mexico.

Since 1998, this free, one-day celebration, presented by the Carlsbad Village Association (CVA), has drawn art enthusiasts and families from all over Southern California. Visitors can explore a diverse array of artwork, including oil paintings, watercolors, digital art, photography, glasswork, and more, all juried for quality and originality. Attendees can also meet the artists and learn about their inspirations, their medium, and passion behind their work. From jewelry to sculpture to carved surfboards to clothing, art is all around at this unique, open-air art show.

Art and music go hand in hand. On the Ting Internet stage, this year's event will feature the soulful R&B keyboard and vocals from Jemille Vialet, the soul-pop, funk and R&B tunes from Jehlad Hickson and his band, and the rockabilly fun from The Ramblin’ Sweethearts.

For the young artists out there, the City of Carlsbad’s artmaking booth will offer creative activities for kids and adults, while the Food, Beer, and Wine Garden will provide culinary delights from local vendors.

Live art demonstrations will take place, including sculpting, printmaking, jewelry making, and more.

Cyclists can enjoy a complimentary Bike Valet service operated by the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition.

Don’t miss this beloved Carlsbad tradition—mark your calendar for an unforgettable day of art, music, and community!
